The Reports tab is for creating or editing custom reports. Each report is comprised of a series of fields and conditions and can be generated in a List or Chart view.
To add a new Report, Select the Reports in the App Tree (left-side panel), click on + Add New Report.
Trigger Table – (Menu) – It is the primary Table from which report will get generated.
Report Name – Allows to set a name for the report.
Active – Allows to temporarily disable the report by unchecking it.
Allow Report Edit – Allows to select fields that can be edited.
SQL Mode – Allows to write an SQL Query to generate a report.
Edit Report Condition – Allows to set conditions for the report and also enables to select dashboard filters.
Apply Sort Order – Allows to sort report data by selecting a particular field.
Create Drill Down Report- Allows to create a drill down report to associate a child report to a parent report.
After clicking on Save, following screen will appear.
he Source Data section contains the Trigger Table as well as all linked Table. Simply drag any available field into the report design to build your report. Note: you can also add a Custom field of your design using the expression builder tool.
The Report Design section has three available drop locations for source data fields:
a. Columns: shows fields across the top.
b. Rows: shows fields down the left-hand side.
c. Measures: Aggregates (sum, avg, etc.) all records to a single value per column/ row.
In the Preview section, Click the Chart icon, on header, to add or edit chart functionality for the report. Here you can choose a chart type, x/y axis, color schemes etc. You can also preview both list and chart view-types simply by toggling icon. When charts are set, users can also toggle on the dashboard.
Report Types: Advanced Pie Chart, Discrete Bar, Discrete Bar Horizontal, Gauge, Line Chart, Grouped Bar, Grouped Bar Horizontal, Stacked Bar, Stacked Bar Horizontal, Pie Chart, Stacked Area, Tree Map, Pie Grid, Bubble Chart, Polar Chart, Heat Map Chart, Number Card, Normalized Vertical Bar, Normalized Horizontal Bar.
1.Advanced Pie Chart:
In chart options there are field selection available for:
1. Label: Select a label field that you want to display in the report.
2. Y Axis: Select a Y Axis field which would be a number for the report.
3. Color Scheme: Select the colors from the available list.
4. Show X axis: Check to display the X-axis, uncheck to hide.
5. Show Y axis: Check to display the X-axis, uncheck to hide.
2. Discrete Bar:
In chart options there are field selection available for:
1. Label: Select a label field that you want to display in the report.
2. Y Axis: Select a Y Axis field which would be a number for the report.
3. Color Scheme: Select the colors from the available list.
4. Scheme Type: Select scheme type from ordinal (displays colors individually) and linear (displays all colors in every record).
5. Padding Between Bars: Allows to have a padding(space) between record fields.
6. Show Tooltip: If checked displays the tooltip else hides it.
7. Show Legend: Allows to add a Legend by giving a Legend Title to give a better understanding of the report.
8. Use Gradients: Allows to add gradient background in the report.
9. Show Y axis: If checked displays the Y axis otherwise hides it.
10. Show X axis: If checked displays the X axis otherwise hides it.
11. Show Y axis Label: If checked displays the Y axis’s Label otherwise hides it.
12. Show X axis Label: If checked displays the X axis’s Label otherwise hides it.
13. Show Gridlines: If checked displays gridlines in the background otherwise hides it.

In chart options there are field selection available for:
1. X Axis: Select a X Axis field that you want to display in the report.
2. Y Axis: Select a Y Axis field which would be a number for the report.
3. Color Scheme: Select the colors from the available list.
4. Units Label: Enter the text you want to display in the report.
5. Min Value: Enter the minimum value to be added into the Gauge.
6. Max Value: Enter the maximum value to be added into the Gauge.
7. Angle Span: Enter the overall required angle for the Gauge.
8. Start Angle: Enter the angle at which you want to start showing records in the Gauge.
9. Number of Large Segments: Enter the number of large segments you want in the Gauge.
10. Number of Small Segments: Enter the number of small segments you want in the Gauge.
11. Show Tooltip: If checked displays the tooltip else hides it.
12. Show Legend: Allows to add a Legend by giving a Legend Title to give a better understanding

4. Line Chart:

12. Show Labels: Displays Labels if checked, else hides it.

9. Pie Chart:
In chart options there are field selection available for:
1. Label: Select a label field that you want to display in the report.
2. Y Axis: Select a Y Axis field which would be a number for the report.
3. Color Scheme: Select the colors from the available list.
4. Show X axis: Check to display the X-axis, uncheck to hide.
5. Show Y axis: Check to display the X-axis, uncheck to hide.
6. Show Tooltip: If checked displays the tooltip else hides it.
7. Show Legend: Allows to add a Legend by giving a Legend Title to give a better understanding of the report.
8. Use Gradients: Allows to add gradient background in the report.
9. Show Y axis Label: If checked displays the Y axis’s Label otherwise hides it.
10. Show X axis Label: If checked displays the X axis’s Label otherwise hides it.
11. Show as Doughnut: Allows to display pie chart in the form of a Doughnut.
12. Explode Slides: Explode the pie chart result into scattered view.
13. Show Labels: Displays Labels if checked, else hides it.
10. Stacked Area:
In chart options there are field selection available for:
1. Label: Select a label field that you want to display in the report.
2. Y Axis: Select a Y Axis field which would be a number for the report.

3. Color Scheme: Select the colors from the available list.
4. Show Tooltip: If checked displays the tooltip else hides it.
5. Show Legend: Allows to add a Legend by giving a Legend Title to give a better understanding of the report.

7. Show Y axis Label: If checked displays the Y axis’s Label otherwise hides it.
8. Show X axis Label: If checked displays the X axis’s Label otherwise hides it.

11. Tree Map:
In chart options there are field selection available for:
1. Label: Select a label field that you want to display in the report.
2. Y Axis: Select a Y Axis field which would be a number for the report.
3. Color Scheme: Select the colors from the available list.
4. Show Tooltip: If checked displays the tooltip else hides it.
5. Use Gradients: Allows to add gradient background in the report.
6. Show Y axis Label: If checked displays the Y axis’s Label otherwise hides it.
7. Show X axis Label: If checked displays the X axis’s Label otherwise hides it.
12. Pie Grid:
In chart options there are field selection available for:
1. Label: Select a label field that you want to display in the report.
2. Y Axis: Select a Y Axis field which would be a number for the report.
3. Color Scheme: Select the colors from the available list.
4. Show Y axis Label: If checked displays the Y axis’s Label otherwise hides it.
5. Show X axis Label: If checked displays the X axis’s Label otherwise hides it.
13. Bubble Chart:
In chart options there are field selection available for:
1. X Axis: Select a X Axis field that you want to display in the report.
2. Y Axis: Select a Y Axis field which would be a number for the report.
3. Bubble-size: Determine the size of the bubble by selecting the numerical field.
4. Color Scheme: Select the colors from the available list.
5. Scheme Type: Select scheme type from ordinal (displays colors individually) and linear (displays all colors in every record).
6. Min Value: Enter the minimum value to be added into the Bubble chart.
7. Max Value: Enter the maximum value to be added into the Bubble chart.
8. Show Tooltip: If checked displays the tooltip else hides it.
9. Use Gradients: Allows to add gradient background in the report.
14. Polar Chart:
In chart options there are field selection available for:
1. X Axis: Select a X Axis field that you want to display in the report.
2. Y Axis: Select a Y Axis field which would be a number for the report.

3. Color Scheme: Select the colors from the available list.

4. Min Value: Enter the minimum value to be added into the Bubble chart.
5. Max Value: Enter the maximum value to be added into the Bubble chart.

7. Show Legend: Allows to add a Legend by giving a Legend Title to give a better understanding of the report.

Review existing Reports in the Reports Menu.
Click on the edit icon below the Action to edit an existing Report Details.
Click on the Report Name to edit the Report.
Click on the delete icon below the Action to delete an existing Report.
Notes:
Each Report Must Have at least once field in Column/Row and Measure.
For Measures, the aggregate type must align with the data type. (ex. An Aggregate type of Sum cannot be applied to a field type of Text)
